"The Garrard 401 is in a 4 layer birch ply plinth with the top layer being a 1-1/4" solid slab of Jotoba.  Sides are 1/4" cherry.  Stax AU7 tonearm with a van den Hul MC 10 Special cartridge

 Denon DP-1100 direct drive turntable

"The Denon DP1100 is in a 5-layer birch ply plinth with 1/4" cherry and rosewood trim.  The arm is a Sumiko Premier MMT with a Soundsmith SMMC3 mono cartridge"
